With the Canopy Barrel Sauna, we have taken the popular Barrel and extended it, creating an open sitting area for the user. Since sauna sessions typically involve repeated cool down periods outside of the hot room, the covered porch area provides a degree of protection and privacy. The stylish canopy and external seating also makes the Canopy Barrel the perfect centerpiece to your garden or backyard environment. The Barrel Sauna construction is the ideal design for outdoor sauna use, and the addition of the covered porch area was developed by Almost Heaven Saunas! This model is available in several configurations. The 5+1 is a 4-person unit with a 5′ room and 1′ porch; The 6+2 is a larger 4-person unit with a 6′ room and 2′ porch; and the 7+1 is a 6-person unit with a 7′ room and a 1′ porch.
The circular design of a, Almost Heaven Barrel Sauna provides exceptional and efficient distribution and circulation of the heat within the room. As the heat rises from the heater, it reaches the top of the sauna. But, unlike a square room design, the heat is naturally pushed back down the sides of the curved walls providing more heat lower into the sauna. Additionally, there is not waste air space in a Barrel, which causes the room to heat faster than most other designs.
