The Elite Heater has a center rock chamber with non-rock heat chambers on either side. The heat chambers deliver heat directly into the sauna room for faster heat-up time while the center chamber heats the rocks for use in steam generation.
There is a steam-vaporizing tray in the rear of the heater that can be used to increase the relative humidity in the sauna as well as provide a slow release of sauna scents such as Eucalyptus oil. The angled deflector grills direct heat away from the back wall and into the sauna contributing to faster heating time and a more even distribution of heat.
