Production lead times vary from season to season. Give us a call at 888.355.3050 for a current estimate for when your sauna will ship. On the day your sauna ships, you will receive an email notification which will provide the carrier and tracking number. When the shipment arrives to your region, the carrier will call you to arrange a delivery appointment. If you will be away and unable to receive delivery, we recommend making arrangements for someone to receive delivery on your behalf.
The freight charge you pay includes delivery curbside to your home; the carrier will offload your order with a lift-gate to the curb at the end of your driveway*. Examine the exterior of the shipment when it arrives. The sauna will be packaged, wrapped, and banded on a single pallet. You can maneuver the pallet with the aid of a pallet jack, or you can disassemble the pallet and move each item individually. We recommend having at least 2 individuals available to accept delivery.
In the rare instance the carrier determines that delivery cannot be made due to isolation or other specifics of your location, you may pursue other options. One possibility is to arrange a smaller delivery truck through a third-party carrier. The arrangements can be made by Almost Heaven, but you will be responsible for any added costs if they are incurred. Another option is for you to pick up the sauna from the local terminal. Most saunas can fit onto a pickup truck or small trailer, and the travel time to the terminal is typically between 1-2 hours.
If the customer refuses the sauna delivery without pursuing the options listed above, the customer will be held responsible for the return shipping costs and any related costs. Likewise, any re-delivery or storage fees incurred will be charged to the customer. If you have any questions or concerns regarding delivery to your location, it is advised that you discuss them with your Almost Heaven Saunas representative at the time of order.
*Excludes cabin saunas and larger barrel saunas
International Sales and Shipping Policy
- All international orders, including Canada and Mexico, require payment prior to pick-up via bank wire transfer.
- Because of differing and ever-changing customs, duty and tax laws, all international orders are shipped “Ex Works.” The customer will need to arrange shipping with an international freight forwarder and is responsible for all shipping charges, customs, duties, VAT and import taxes.
- We are happy to assist your freight forwarder with information about the product including Certificate of Origin and Harmonized Tariff Codes.
