Almost Heaven builds room in the cooperage, or barrel making tradition. We make precise croze cuts in the red cedar staves which fit tightly around the pre-built front and back wall sections, and then are drawn together with highly polished stainless steel bands. Each of our saunas is a partially assembled kit which can be easily assembled on site. All holes are pre-drilled, benches and wall sections are pre-built, and the door is already mounted in the wall. Most models can be assembled by two people in only a few hours!
In addition to the the Western Canadian Red Cedar, we utilize stainless steel bands, hardware and fasteners, allowing our saunas to be placed outdoors in any type of climate. We use high-quality, brand name heaters which heat quickly and efficiently, and the glass door is tinted for privacy and tempered for safety. Each sauna room is hand-built by our seasoned professionals, insuring a hand-crafted product which will last a lifetime.
