Ship Times & Standard Procedure
Ship-times can vary from season to season, and from model to model. Give us a call at 888.355.3050 to determine when your sauna is estimated to ship so you can begin planning for its delivery!*
Our saunas ship either via LTL (less-than-truckload) carriers or dedicated flatbed rigs. In both cases, you will receive a notification when your sauna ships, as well as a call from the carrier to make arrangements for its delivery. Please note that we will do our best to accommodate the delivery of your sauna around your busy schedule. However, we thank you in advance for being flexible with our driver’s rigid and pre-scheduled delivery timelines.
*Please note Island Deliveries are subject to additional fees. Customer will be charged for 100% of additional delivery costs

Your sauna purchase includes curbside delivery at the specified delivery address. LTL deliveries will be offloaded with a liftgate, while flatbed deliveries will either be offloaded by hand or with a forklift (see Flatbed Policy below).
Examine the exterior of the shipment. The sauna will be contained in a cardboard box with wooden framing around the package. Once the driver has safely offloaded the pallet at your curbside, it will be your responsibility to transport the individual components of the sauna to the site of installation.
For most sauna models, the individual components are easily handled by any able-bodied person. We recommend having 1-2 people assist you in the transportation of the componentry to expedite the process. It is also advisable to have a dolly or cart on standby for some of the heavier pieces.

Some of our larger sauna models are too large to be safely transported with our common carriers and must be shipped on a flatbed trailer. Offloading of these units is your responsibility, and is typically done piece-by-piece with a group of 2-4 people, or with a forklift. In the rare instance the carrier determines that the delivery cannot be made due to the isolation or other extenuating circumstances around the delivery, you may pursue one of the three options below:
Option 1
You can have your sauna delivered to an alternative and more accessible address, including a parking lot, a business address, etc., and then transport the package to the site of installation yourself. Any rerouting fees may be your responsibility.
Option 2
If the carrier determines that their standard delivery trucks cannot access your original shipping address, you can choose to pick up the sauna at their local terminal. These terminals are typically 30-120 minutes away from the original shipping address. If this is the option you’d like to pursue, please contact Almost Heaven Saunas to get this arranged with the carrier. Plan to pick up the sauna with either a pickup or a trailer, depending on the model ordered.
Option 3
If it’s determined that the standard delivery truck cannot safely deliver the sauna to the requested delivery address, a smaller delivery truck may be arranged through third-party carriers. These arrangements would be made by the Almost Heaven Saunas staff at your request, and are subject to added shipping fees that would be your responsibility. This service often adds an additional $500-$750 to the shipping fee.
Hawaii & Alaska Shipment
Hawaii & Alaska Shipment
We do not ship directly to Alaska or Hawaii. However, we are happy to ship your sauna to the freight forwarder of your choosing. Please note, we are not responsible for any damages incurred after the unit has arrived at the freight forwarding facility. Additionally, warranty claims will be fulfilled as per our warranty, but the shipping fee will be your responsibility.
Island Deliveries
Island Deliveries
We love to see our saunas on islands! However, the logistics of getting such a large item to an island can be challenging. Any ferry costs or other fees associated with an island delivery will be your responsibility. Alternatively, you may pick up the sauna on the mainland with a pickup or a trailer.

Almost Heaven Saunas does not ship individual saunas internationally. If you ship your sauna to a freight forwarding company to ship outside of the United States without our knowledge, we are not responsible for any damage incurred or fulfillment of warranty claims.

Note on Returns
Almost Heaven Saunas will accept the return of unopened products within 30 days of receiving them. If you decide to return the item, you will be refunded the original amount less the original & return shipping fees. A 25% restocking fee will be held as well. This refund will be processed upon inspection of the returned unit to ensure all items are accounted for. To arrange a return, contact us at 888.355.3050.
