Hemfir is lighter in color with small tight knots that give its rustic appearance. Rustic Fir is our most popular lumber for indoor saunas and is also ideal for exterior applications. The exterior of the sauna can be left natural or stained or painted as desired. This lumber is sourced from North America.

The lighting options work beautifully, and the bar is easy to mount.
My biggest gripe is that they do not sell a jumper that goes between the light bar and the power supply?? The stock setup only gives you ~4’ of cable between the LED and the power supply. No one at the company knows what it is. Best I can tell it’s an IP67 5.5 x 2.5 DC connector. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on AliExpress and Chinese websites looking for this if you don’t want to drill more holes in your sauna.
Installed two 30 inch LED fixtures below the back rest in my sauna. Very simple installation and provides just the right amount of light. Changing the color to fit your mood is fun - a great addition!
Lights are fantastic! Very bright and can be dimmed as well as color changing. The only thing I would complain about was the lack of detail as to which size lights go specifically where (ie the shorter lights can go under OR over the bench, while the longest ones will fit on top of the bench but if you want them under you must take the bench apart then add, as it won’t fit any other way.
